Open Steel Rectangular Grating
Constructed from a series of flat load bearing bars, either 3, 4, 5 and 6mm thick at 17, 20.5, 25, 30, 34, and 41mm centers, to which traverse bar sections are electro-forge – welded into the top surface. Available with 5.4, 6, 6.4 & 8mm crossrods.
Standard 1m x 6m Panels (Light and Medium Duty Grating)
Lionweld Meiser manufactures grating, ranging from 20mm deep to 70mm deep, in standard panels nominally 1m wide x 6m long. These standard panels can be supplied direct to customer, or can be cut and shaped by Lionweld Meiser to suit the customers individual requirements.
Stair Treads
Produced the same way as press welded gratings, they are banded on each side with flat bar/plate, which has been drilled for fixing to the stair stringers.
As demands for anti-slip capabilities are often higher than gratings, treads are produced with a perforated safety nosing and Liongrip Nosing. This is not only safer for people using the stair, but also contributes the stability and structure.
Lionweld Meiser comply with DIN 24531 and BS4592, and can be supplied in steel, stainless steel or aluminum.
Handrails
Handrailing is available in the following specifications,
Lionweld Meiser are experts in producing complex fully customised handrailing systems to meet customers specific requirements.
Heavy Duty Trench Grating
Heavy duty gratings are press locked gratings. The bearing bars and the cross bars are interlocked with one another and then processed at a pressure of 12,000 kN.
Due to their high stability and safety, heavy duty gratings are used where large support widths and high wheel loads are required.
Heavy duty gratings can be also produced in stainless-steel.
